Home Learning

Tapestry - our home learning journal.
As you know we use Tapestry regularly to share information with parents and carers about your childs learning.  Over the next few weeks we will be using this system regularly as a way of sharing home learning ideas and opportunities and we would love for you to share the work you have completed too!  If anyone is having trouble accessing their childs tapestry account please do not hesitate to get in touch.  The easiest way to resolve tapestry issues is to email me at sharon.donaldson@amblefirst.northumberland.sch.uk.
Many thanks,
The Edwin Street Nursery Team
Dear Families,
First of all we hope everyone is safe and well in these uncertain times.  As the national lock down continues we have updated our learning journey to add some additional ideas for the children to work on from home.  Please remember that these are just suggested ideas, please do what is best for you and your family.  We are finding that short sessions, little and often are working best, if the children are interested in something, go with it, if not, move on!  As always I am available via tapestry or email.  Any questions do not hesitate to get in touch,
Stay safe and keep smiling,
Mrs Donaldson and the Early Years Team
Dear Families,
We know this is a difficult time for everyone and we hope you know we are here help and support you as much as possible throughout this period.  Home learning is a new idea for many of us, please do not try and replicate nursery but do what works for you and your family.  The children in Nursery learn in many different ways and remember, they learn best through play and practical activities!!
I added the home learning pack at the bottom of this page and will continue to add ideas to tapestry and the Edwin Street Nursery facebook page as regularly as I can.  My email is also on the home learning pack - please do not hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions at all.
Stay safe and stay smiling
