Hello and welcome to Reception!
Reception is the final year of our Early Years curriculum, we love to learn and have a great time in class! We work hard to develop our early reading, writing and number skills in interesting and engaging ways, we learn about our local area, families and friends and develop a respect and understanding of the wider world around us.
We aim to work closely with parents using tapestry, our online learning journal to share our adventures, we send home reading books or 'sharing stories' early into the year and encourage children to complete regular learning log activities linked to our topics.

Spring one Information
* Reading books are changed every Monday and Friday. Please ensure your reading record and reading book are in school on these days.
* PE takes place on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Children can come to school wearing their usual t-shirts and jumpers with black jogging bottoms and trainers.
* Learning logs are shared in class every Monday. Please add any work completed at home to your child's tapestry account.
